But none of them is better than the others. To be safe, put both of them into one of the eight pin connectors, which one makes no difference.<br>]]>

They are not separate and do not provide power to different things.<br><br>Some mother boards only have a four pin CPU power connector, which is why your PSU's CPU power cable has 4 + 4 pin design. That dual 4 pin, split connector is not meant to be shared between two, 8 pin CPU power connectors. Don't try to connect each four pin half to both of the eight pin connectors.<br><br>Just put both of the four pin connectors on the cable into one or the other of the two eight pin connectors on the board. It does not make any difference which one you use.<br><br>Dual eight pin CPU power connectors on a board are unusual, and might help only if you are doing extreme over clocking, and your PSU has two, eight pin CPU power cables.<br>]]>
