I got bit by this years ago. Custom CPU's that aren't fully supported unless you can get someone to roll a BIOS to support it. I don't think, now knowing triple channel, that they way the mem to cpu traces on a consumer MB are, will work with JUST a bios. I might be wrong there ...........
