That's what the other user with similar issues had done.<br><br>Now I wonder if the SSD Windows drive is also connected to an ASMedia SATA port? <br><br><i><b>redline89</b></i>, you should check if your SSD is connected to an Intel SATA port, it will perform better. Installing Windows when connected to the ASMedia SATA chipset can be difficult, you probably used an Intel SATA port.<br><br>Otherwise, installing a <b>keyboard and network chip driver</b> fails because an optical drive is connected to an ASMedia SATA port. That port has its own software for configuring the port, which you can only get by using the APP Shop tool, available on your board's download page. Also, this port might not work well with every mouse.</td></tr></table><br>The mouse was on the port you were talking about and I've changed it for the new driver install try I was talking above, sadly with the same result.<br><br><table width="99%"><tr><td class="BBquote"><img src="forum_images/quote_box.png" title="Quote" alt="Quote" style="vertical-align: text-bottom;" /> I've never had any problems installing the Intel networking drivers on my <a href="http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html%3c_nkw=asrock+z170" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><span>ASRock </span><span>Z170</span></a> board, or any mother board. One thing you should do during this driver installation, is on the Setup Options screen. You'll see four features listed, three are checked by default. Find the <i><b>Advanced Network Services</b></i> entry, and <b>uncheck</b> it. You only want Device Drivers and PROSet.</td></tr></table><br>When installing that driver, I tried different types of installation. I tried to check ONLY the driver installation too but it freezes anyway. By the way, I will try re-install the driver as you told me and I'll tell you soon.<br><br>Is possible that there is something to set inside the BIOS that can make this freeze happen? This is a problem ONLY when using Windows 7, since it does not have a built in USB 3.0 driver.<br><br>Intel does not provide a USB 3.0 driver for installation with Windows 10. The Win 10 "inbox" USB 3.0 driver is used. Depending upon the USB 3.0 hardware in your board, you will find drivers such as USBHUB3.SYS, or USBXHCI.SYS being used in the Device Manager entries. You also won't find an Intel USB 3.0 driver for Windows 8.1 anymore, at least Intel doesn't have one available on their website. anymore.<br><br>Have you checked for a Win 10 specific driver for your Logitech keyboard and mouse?<br><br>Are you using the Fatal1ty USB port for the mouse?
