For starters ^^^^ that is a No No. Moving a HDD between machines.

Then, assuming you did not look now, consider a Windows Update may have re-enable it. Just look.




I'd urge you to download the Intel® Processor Identification Utility and check. Intel is who made the CPU and chipset.

I just googled https://www.google.com/search?q=Piriform+Speccy+virtualization and right off the bat the results are enough for me me to have serious doubt Speccy is correct in determining Virtualization 100% of the time.

Think about it. Would ASRock include the options to enable it available if the BIOS did not support Virtualization. It's my experience that if the BIOS determined the processor did not support it, those two options would be grayed out and unselectable.

Ok,  I already uninstalled "Hyper-V" in window features long ago with my late H61M-K motherboard.
I'm using "Piriform Speccy" to verify if "Intel Virtualization Technology" is enable/disable.
I just learned that to make a H61 chipset to support VT-d is depends on the motherboard munufacturers (ASUS for example).
It make sense to me now that H61 chipset is originally not supported VT-d.
Well, thats be it. I gonna save some funding for an upgrade. I just can't let go an i7 even its only 3rd Gen.

I puzzled over the same thing in searching here.

Yet the manual clearly shows the BIOS offers it, and there are many other H61 boards I found that do support it also.

How did you check that VT-d is not compatible? What is telling you that?

There are two options in your new board's BIOS to enable virtualization, one which will not be displayed unless the processor supports it. There seems to be another reason besides lack of support from the hardware for VT-d.

What BIOS version do you have now?

Question for you, did you just move your Windows 7 OS installation drive from the old board to the new one? Or did you install Windows 7 fresh with the new board? I'm sure you had to activate Windows again after changing boards.

Have you installed the basic Intel chipset INF files, and the IME software for your new board?

Let's start at the beginning.

1. Did you make/enable the changes in the BIOS parsec stated above?

2. Have you disabled/uninstalled Hyper-V from within Windows?
Windows key > Settings > System > type in Windows Features, then select Turn Windows features on or off > scroll to Hyper-V and unselect the check box > follow the prompting and then reboot when asked.

3. Download and install the Intel® Processor Identification Utility. Run it and check that VT is enabled.

You list the base freq at 3.40, which would indicate a NON K processor.
