My Z270 board also has a UEFI/BIOS update that applies a fix for it, and it works. I suggest you apply that version for your board if that bothers you.<br><br><a href="http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Taichi/index.asp#BIOS" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Taichi/index.asp#BIOS</a><br><br>When in the UEFI/BIOS, the CPU power saving options are not active, so most processors tend to run warmer while in the UEFI UI for that and other reasons.<br>]]>

That is normal while reading temps in the BIOS directly.<br>]]>
