UEFI is the name of the new firmware used in PC mother boards that has replaced the old BIOS firmware, starting about six years ago.<br><br>Did you configure your audio with the Windows Sound feature? You have selected the Realtek audio as the audio device being used?<br><br>You have more than one audio device in your PC. Your video card has audio output. If you have the Intel iGPU driver installed, you have the Intel audio device built into the Z170 chipset too.<br><br>The audio signal is from the game you are loading, for example?<br><br>What drive is the game installed on?<br>]]>

This also happens when Windows just loaded, but some background tasks still start up.<br>When those backgound activities end (i.e.: DOOM ends loading the level) problem is gone.<br>I use headpphnoes connected to front audio headphone connector.<br><br>Configuration:<br><br>ASRock Z170 Extreme 4<br>i5-6600K @ 4.4GHz<br>Corsair 750 RX<br>2x16 GB G.Skill 3000 @ 2133MHz<br>Radeon 7970 GHz ed.<br>Antec 300<br>Samsung EVO 850<br>Plextor PX-256 M6M <br>WDC WD5000AAKS<br>Windows 10 Home 64bit<br>]]>
