As Odiebug said, we will need to know your Power Supply brand and model as well as your full system specs in order to properly help you. Welcome to the board.

Running and turning off sounds like a PSU problem.  There have been millions of new PSU that were shipped bad. 

A PSU can power on and seem ok but when the board calls for power, or starts to draw it can turn off.

What is the model of the new PSU you bought and what CPU do you have
