It has been this way for decades and should come as no surprise to Users that chase BIOS updates just for the sake of hoping for a magical one.<br><br><br>It says right there on their respective download page!. 7.30 "Improve HDMI Audio compatibility." and 7.20 "1.Update Intel Microcode.<br>2.Update Intel ME."<br><br>So.... I take it you don't spend the time tuning your own systems OC so much as just simply selecting an OC Profile from drop-down menu's?<br><br><br><br><br><br>]]>

The microcode and ME firmware update may not be in the 7.30 version, but any good updates in 7.30 will also be in 7.20, since it's date is newer.<br><br>There is far more to a UEFI/BIOS update than what we can see. Most of the important parts of the UEFI/BIOS are the things we cannot see.<br><br>Many UEFI updates can mean different things. Do more updates mean something is better? Fewer updates, as in fewer for an SSD's firmware for example, is a good sign things were done right from the start.<br>]]>
