When I returned it was powered off.<div>Pressing the power on button saw the chassis power light and activity light illuminate but no activity on the display. After a couple of seconds, the display power light started a slow on/off blink and a few seconds later the system powered down.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Tried once again and the same thing happened, so unplugged from mains and left it for a day.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>This evening, tried again with the same result.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Unplugged the system, removed side panel and checked RAM modules for seating. One module was not seated properly (latch open) so pressed down until latch engaged. Checked others - all okay.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Plugged in and tried again - same result with "POST code = "6f".</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Checked manual and Post code 6f lies in range with error description:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>"Chipset initialisation error - press &lt;Reset&gt; or &lt;Clear CMOS&gt;"</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Tried &lt;Reset&gt; and no change - still powers down with Post Code 6f</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Any ideas?</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by DevillEars - 26 Jul 2015 at 2:37am</span>]]>
