    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5410">MOB</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4804<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Apr 2017 at 12:43pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>I've tried everything and cannot figure out what is wrong. &nbsp;I'm not any kind of expert, but I've built a few PCs over the years and never had anything like this happen.<div><br></div><div>I finished my build, and when I turn the power on, I don't get any video out or a post beep. &nbsp;Motherboard LED lights come on and case &amp; CPU cooler fans spin. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Searched the internet and tried everything I could find:</div><div>1. Removed gpu</div><div>2. Tried HDMI and VGA out on MB</div><div>3. Rotated RAM between slots (A2/B2 &amp; A1/B1)</div><div>4. Tried 1 RAM module in each slot individually</div><div>5. Made sure the RAM was fully seated</div><div>6. Reset CMOS (jumper and removed battery)</div><div>7. Verified CPU and MB power cables</div><div><br></div><div>(The psu is new, but used it in a previous build for a month, so it works)</div><div><br></div><div>With RAM removed, I get 3 short beeps. &nbsp;(I installed a MB speaker.)</div><div><br></div><div>I see that the BIOS is 1.2, original release. &nbsp;I would flash to current release, but can't since I don't get video out.</div><div><br></div><div>Build Details:</div><div>MB: Z270 Extreme4, BIOS version 1.2</div><div>CPU: I5-7600K</div><div>CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S</div><div>RAM: 2x8 GB G.Skill TridentZ (p/n F4-3200C16D-16GTZ) (verified compatible)</div><div>PSU: EVGA 650 G3 PSU</div><div>GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 480 OC</div><div>SSD: Samsung EVO</div><div><br></div><div>Any ideas?</div>]]>
