That is normal, nothing is missing. Use the HDD entry for optical drives.<br><br>Actually, the only SATA ports that ASRock provides the SSD and HDD options for are Intel SATA ports. You may have noticed there is no Device Type option for the ASMedia SATA ports.<br><br>Also, you learned that the ASMedia SATA ports don't work well with Optical drives. Many users report they have problems using optical drives (which are really ATAPI devices) on any of the add on SATA chipsets, like ASMedia or Marvell. That is also normal.<br><br>The ASMedia SATA ports will not perform as well as the Intel SATA ports with SSDs, so be sure to always connect SSDs to the Intel SATA ports.<br><br><br>]]>
