    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5435">datonyb</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4835<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 Apr 2017 at 8:31pm<br /><br />bios version 1.5 and up has internet flash<br>if you look at the board right in the middle you will see a very small chip with a sticker on it <br>the sticker will have what bios the board was built with <br><br>for example my one arrived 6th april and had a sticker saying v1.5 and was indeed version 1.5<br><br>i still prefer myself to download the bios flash to desktop ,expand-extract it then copy it to a blank usb stick <br><br>on the taichi you then either boot into bios (press delete key on startup) or boot directly into bios flash (press f6 on start-up)<br>the screen then shows you suitable bios files found on any drive and you follow the instructions on screen<br><br>may i say if not for your benifit but for future readers <br>NEVER EVER USE THE WINDOWS BASED BIOS FLASH !<br>there is no need ever and it increases the chance of file corruption by an extreme amount<br>please also reset current bios to defualt settings before any bios flashing ( as this would be the worst time to discover your cpu or ram overclock bugged out )<br>]]>

The CPU won't operate without it.<br><br>As asked above, your board has the Dr Debug POST code display at the lower right side of the board. Do you see anything on that display, should be two alphanumeric characters if there is a problem.<br><br>You have a CPU cooler mounted, but the fans don't spin? Any case fans connected to the board fan headers? Do they spin? You said nothing happens, including this?<br><br>You did not give any details about the other hardware you are using, we really need to know at least:<br><br>Full model number of your memory, and which slots it is installed in?<br><br>PSU model? New PSU or have you used it in another PC?<br><br>CPU?<br>]]>
