also installed :- Rosewill Dual Band Wireless N900 Adapter.

Trying to install/update LAN driver, I'm getting message 'the extended attributes areinconsistent'.

 background installation info.

installed relevant drivers via USB. ie lan driver, vga, usb,(ME didn't work/install, exe was missing on CD).

Also installed above Rosewill Dual Band Wireless Adapter.

The Network (on-board LAN 'enabled') adapter drivers did notinstall for some reason. The Killer LAN application was installed.

 In Windows device manager I confirmed the Network driverswere not installed. This was also confirmed running windows networkdiagnostics. So attempting to 'update driver' via Device manager - while tryingto install the found Lan driver, I'm always getting the message 'the extendedattributes are inconsistent'.

 Now, I've uninstalled Killer LAN application, re-installed anewer version. Same error message. Tried installing drivers without Killer LAN application, sameerror.  I've updated the firmware toversion 2.5 still no good.

 Also drivers for PCI Simple Communications Controller didnot installed. 

windows device manager ??was unable to find it during ?˜update driver??/p>

The Dual Band wireless adapter drivers installed without anyproblems.
