    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5892">jedi86694</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5254<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 Jun 2017 at 11:54pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>Hello everyone, after so much testing I put to this board I managed to figure out one of the flare X 3200 was kinda defective as it would not run two ram sticks at 3200 speeds..<br><br><i>I switched to 1 stick and immediately it loaded 3200 speed with xmp 1 with 1.35 stock voltage.<br><br>not contented with only one stick, I returned the sticks and got the flare X 2400mhz.. I tried it with the new agesa bios 1.0.0.6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (2.34) It ran stable at 3200mhz and even 3330 <br>timings are a bit relaxed at 20 19 19 19 55, with 1.35 volts<br><br>here is where the problem sets up.. Running multiple times of cinebench decreases the scores gradually since the bios&nbsp; is in beta and not fully stable..<br><br>so I downgraded to the official 2.30 which I am currently testing at 2993 mhz because 3200 wont budge<br>settings are 20 20 20 20 40 , 1.35 volts 1.02500 soc, <br><br>any suggestions regarding my settings? should I keep the beta bios? thanks<br></i>]]>

Check your timings once in Windows to make sure it's defaulted back to 2133 etc.<br><br>Reboot your PC, go into the BIOS, select a XMP profile in OC Tweaker and then Save and Exit. Let it boot into Windows again.<br><br>Hopefully this works for you.<br><br>]]>

I had similar issues with my RAM not posting higher than 2400 on all BIOS version up to and including 2.30. I tried all the usual things, but it simply refused to boot if I set the speed greater than 2400.<br><br>I'm currently running the 2.34 beta BIOS. With this BIOS I can now run my RAM at its rated 3200 speed by simply selecting the XMP profile.<br><br>You basically have three options from here:<br><ol><li>Continue making BIOS settings changes in the hope of getting your RAM to run at a higher speed.</li><li>Download and install the 2.34 beta BIOS and see if that allows you to run your RAM at its rated speed.</li><li>Wait for ASRock to release a stable version of the new BIOS.</li></ol><p>I have had a couple of minor issues with stability since loading the 2.34 beta BIOS, but nothing more than I've experienced when attempting to tweak RAM settings manually in earlier BIOS versions.<br></p>]]>
