Author: kaszebe
Subject: 54634
Posted: 05 Aug 2024 at 12:40am

I am trying to get both m.2 slots working on my ROMED8-2T motherboard.

I looked up the proper jumper configuration in the manual (2,3 and 2,3) and then installed the 2nd drive. The original 1tb drive was in M2_2 and the new 4tb drive was in M2_1.

The system refused to post.

I then cleared CMOS and tried it again. It refused to post.

So, I decided to put everything back together as it was (and then make a post on this forum for help). I cleared CMOS again (bridged the two metal prongs with a screw driver for 20 seconds) and started it up with only one stick of RAM and the GPU connected to the motherboard.

It's now stuck on code A6 in Dr. Debug.

Any idea how to fix this?
