Recently in my spare time (long story short), I installed Windows 10 Home 64 bit and registered with Microsoft. I then changed the BIOS set up to have the PCIE1 slot as the primary display and installed an ATI Firegel v7100 dual DVI video card I had on the shelf. I then was able to successfully upgrade to Windows 10 Home 64 bit and install the latest upgrades. It's my conclusion that the G41C chipset/Windows 10 has an issue with the onboard video - and taking that out of the equations enables you to run Win10.

It does not use UEFI firmware.

If future Windows 10 updates require UEFI/GPT support, even if all the built in Windows 10 drivers work, you'll reach a point where you cannot run new Windows 10 updates.

Also, I've see problems using Windows 10 with boards with newer chipsets than this board has.
