Regarding your question, Fatal1ty B150Gaming K4/Hyper supports i3-7100 since BIOS P7.20.

If you got the board with older BIOS version;please install a Skylake CPU to update BIOS to P7.20, then i3-7100 can be used.

If you don?™t have any Skylake CPU, pleasesent a technical support ticket from below link, we will send you a new BIOSchip with latest BIOS version.

I bought an Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4/ Hyper and i want to buy i3-7100, but I saw that need to update the bios to the P7.30 version. 

I need a skylake cpu to update bios?
