Right now Asrock seems to have a far broader qvl than Asus does for their x399 motherboards. How should I explain this at your oppinion? I am not an experienced user, but please check it out with their x399 qvls before you answer. To me, this means that asus faces far more compatibility problems than asrock does in their implementation of memory. ]]>

Am I right?</td></tr></table><br><br>to be fair i think thats quite a broad sweeping statement and likely not to be very much accurate<br><br>the rog community and namely elmor will be smashing bios revisions out faster than your daily evening meal<br>the community as a whole will have countless brands and serial numbers for tested ram combinations within the first week of the board landing to customers<br><br>and if you care to compare like for like between the top asus rog x370 board and the asrock fatality boards using ryzen and ram it shows the complete opposite of your statement<br><br>we have seen with the x370 even QVL ram on asrock boards not working at quoted speeds and or not even working<br><br>dont get me wrong im not slating any manufactuer here ( i myself have a x370 taichi) and im a happy customer BUT ALL x370 boards from any manufactuer have had quite a lot of beta testing from users and learning lessons on what ram ,what speed and what settings<br><br>i have read many posts from asrock buyers moaning that the asus rog x370 board got better support and tech attention (some may have not been good as an example there was a very bad bios near launch but hey so did other manufactuers)<br><br>i just had to point out your post wasnt the best informed information for the guy to make a buying decision on<br></td></tr></table><div><br></div><div>This is true. &nbsp;With the X370 Fatal1ty Pro board, a number of qvl memory was listed for the system but it took months before AsRock provided a bios to allow my G.Skill FlareX to run at the listed speeds.</div><div><br></div><div>Asus will get faster bios updates and I will be more than likely going back to them for my next motherboard. &nbsp;But what makes my X370 Fatal1ty Pro my last AsRock board is that it's the first motherboard that I have ever owned in the last 20 years that does not provide you with any diagnostic/system information on the startup splash screen. &nbsp;I have to either go into the bios setup or wait to get into Windows before being able to realize what my cpu/memory speed is or what input/hard drive connections I have. &nbsp;Inexcusable, imho.&nbsp;</div>]]>
