    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=37458">Dansole</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 58726<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Sep 2024 at 2:33am<br /><br />Ok.For whatever reason I completely missed the additional settings on top of the intel recommended sheet.<br /><br />I was able to change the rest of the settings except for the following as I searched and could not find the asrock z790-c equivalent terminology <br /><br />ICCMAX unlimited bit<br />TJMAXX offset<br />C-states<br /><br />Ive tried to attach a screenshot of cinebench but i dont see anywhere on this reply screen where i can do that. <br /> I watched the entire test and the current cpu package was almost always pegged close to 100.<br />The core temperatures above it were in the 90's<br />]]>

Are you sure the other settings like CEP and (eTVB) are applied too?<br /><br />What cooling are you using?<br /><br />What core voltages do you see in for example hwInfo64?<br /><br />Sometimes you can get away with a small undervolt, that will shave a bit off the temperatures. ]]>

Which is Pl1 and PL2 set at 253 w.<br />The cpu current core limit is set at 400a.<br /><br />When I run Cinebench 2024 test the cpu is reaching 100 degrees Celsius. <br /><br />Seems way too high. Any suggestions?]]>

The latest bios actually did this for me, setting both to 0.74 mOHm (milli Ohm)<br /><br />I'm guessing these are also influenced by:<br />CPU Vcore Compensation for the AC line <br />and<br />CPU/Core/Cache Load-Line Calibration for the DC line <br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=26532">Darkje</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 58726<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 02 Sep 2024 at 7:13am<br /><br />Going from this reference posted by intel, it seems 'performance' and 'baseline' are the actual profile names, with a tendency for performance to be recommended. <br /><br /><img src="https://i.imgur.com/6U9k4rg.png" border="0" /><br /><br />Now 'bios defaults' seems to set what intel calls 'performance' pl1/pl2 and IccMax (called 'CPU Core Current Limit' by asrock) for me. So I guess it's best to reference that image to see if those settings are obeyed. ]]>

Performance and baseline modes are likely tuned settings by ASRock (and<br />other manufacturers on other brand boards). ]]>
