Author: ElderLyons
Subject: 589
Posted: 08 Aug 2015 at 11:20am

Hello, I've come here because I've ran out of options.

After POST it always gives me "1394 guid are invalid in both CMOS and flash", and have no internet + messed up internal clock after failed BIOS update!
On the internet I found this fwguid fix for it, but it didn't work because "64 bit operating system doesn't support it" I've tried flashing my BIOS again, but the USB doesn't show up in instant flash, and I can't manually via DOS either for some reason.. I can't access the internet on my machine and my internal clock is all messed up, too, plus a lot of program icons are just plain missing , please, how do I fix this? I need my computer for work, I thought upgrading the BIOS would fix some issues I've had but now I've messed it up completely! Please tell me I can give my BIOS a "fresh" flash in some way. Thanks.

My motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme 6
