Hi guys, can confirm this on my MB as well. I have AVX offset = 2 atm and my (OC) CPU freq. oscillates between 4,6-4,4ghz doing nothing in desktop. If I set auto then offset = 0 but does not turn off AVX instructions. If it affects all MBs and Coffee Lake CPUs as said above I'm afraid its not goin to be fixed.

I asked support the same question as i always got the 4 avx ratio when set to auto on my Z370 Fatality ITX.
You have to set "Multi Core Enhancement" to disabled, then AVX auto is actually 0.
If "Multi Core Enhancement" is not visible, you first have to set CPU Ration back to "Auto" to make the option visible.

This is a problem with ALL mfg boards and Coffee Lake CPUs. The oddness is you can run a stress test that you know doesn't have avx and it will drop the speed down .
