That usually restored the BIOS splash and normal behavior.

When I get some cycles I will insert a fresh battery. I have a hunch that the dead one causes some unexpected behavior when it is in place.

I?™m currently running with two GTX 1080s for deep learning applications and system functions have been stable thus far.

Currently I am using two 1080 Ti's. These are water cooled so removing a card just to get to the BIOS is extremely difficult!

I have reset the CMOS and removed the battery multiple times. It seems to work only briefly for me (one or two reboots at most). Additionally, all monitors are attached to a single GPU on top slot.

I just emailed ASRock support but wondering if anyone here might have additional info or advice.
