Help!!

To review from your post, you have a Z370 Killer SLI/ac board (that's the new Z370 chipset) with an i7-7700K Kaby Lake processor, correct?

If that is all correct, the problem is simple. Your board, or any Z370 board, is NOT compatible with any Kaby Lake processors, sorry to say. Please check the CPU support list for your board, here:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z370%20Killer%20SLIac/index.asp#CPU

All Z370 or any of the other Intel 300 series chipset boards are only compatible with the new Intel Coffee Lake processors. This is NOT an ASRock limitation, but one common to all Intel 300 series chipset boards made by any manufacture. This is an Intel requirement, or limitation.

Yes the CPU socket used by the i7-7700K is the same (socket 1151) as the one used on your Z370 board. But for other reasons the Intel 7th generation processors like the i7-7700K are not compatible with Z370 chipset boards. Only the Intel 8th generation processors are compatible with your board.

I was afraid some people would get caught by this, which has been written about on PC hardware websites. It's one of the worst physically compatible but technically not compatible hardware situations we've ever seen.

The only choices you have are to get a Coffee Lake processor for this board (i7-8700K for example), or trade the Z370 board for a Z270 board. There is no UEFI/BIOS update that can fix the compatibility issue, sorry to say.
