I saw that notice and did the 3.3 flash but with Windows. I just looked at this page https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.asp?cat=Windows9

I did get to a screen like this:

https://www.asrock.com/support/images/BIOSUI-Win9-3.jpg

but I think I didn't see a step like this:

https://www.asrock.com/support/images/BIOSUI-Win9-4.jpg

So, I'm actually not 100% sure if that was successful or not.

Which check sum generator do you use? I used this one:

http://onlinemd5.com/

but the codes generated are different. I get:

MD5: 61782076348CCA23AD7E4C0DD6D17F51

SHA1: 9583BAF88531F521CFBB8FC90D55AD9EC3AA32B4

I just did a fresh download on my desktop and did a unzip and ran the checker again, and I still get the same values as what I got from the file already put on my thumbdrive.

BTW, I will be away from my ryzen 5 machine in question for a couple of weeks, so I could only come back to flashing the bios again after a while.

Edited by nel - 08 Dec 2017 at 8:03am
