    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=7791">GTwannabe</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6908<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Dec 2017 at 3:14am<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>I have an X299 Taichi with a 7820X.&nbsp; Turbo Boost 3.0 is enabled and Windows 10 appears to pin tasks to the favored cores.&nbsp; However, my maximum boost frequency in Intel Extreme Tuning Utility tops out at 4.26GHz.&nbsp; The chip should boost to 4.5GHz for 1-2 core non-AVX workloads... am I missing something?<div><br></div><div>- 3200MHz memory using XMP profile</div><div>- Turbo Boost 3.0 enabled in BIOS and confirmed in Intel XTU</div><div>- Speedshift set to Native Mode in BIOS and confirmed in Intel XTU</div><div>- Intel TB 3.0 drivers installed properly</div><div>- Intel TB 3.0 tray utility indicates current version on Intel website</div><div>- Windows 10 64-bit is current (Fall Creators Update)</div>]]>
