I am running Linux so when I bought the X570 I switched MB and video card and kept everything else (including the OS). The stirage devices worked without a glitch with the old MB, and they still work, however they leave hanging processes, which prevent the system from powering off or rebooting:

chalki:~ # ps axu | grep " D "
root 25051 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 07:10 0:01 [kworker/5:2+usb_hub_wq]
root 28080 0.0 0.0 5812 2248 pts/0 S+ 08:48 0:00 grep --color=auto D
chalki:~ # ps axu | grep " D "
root 28085 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 08:48 0:00 [kworker/5:0+pm]
root 28128 0.0 0.0 5812 2108 pts/0 S+ 08:48 0:00 grep --color=auto D
chalki:~ # ps axu | grep " D "
root 570 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 03:34 0:03 [kworker/5:1+pm]
root 5388 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 05:55 0:00 [usb-storage]
root 5536 0.0 0.0 5812 2248 pts/0 S+ 05:56 0:00 grep --color=auto D
chalki:~ # ps axu | grep " D "
root 570 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 03:34 0:04 [kworker/5:1+usb_hub_wq]
root 5408 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? D 05:55 0:01 [kworker/7:2+usb_hub_wq]
root 13550 0.0 0.0 4876 2824 ? D 06:50 0:00 eject /dev/sdc
root 13557 0.0 0.0 5812 2236 pts/0 S+ 06:50 0:00 grep --color=auto D

I habe BIOS 5.60 installed.
