a friend of mie sold me his old Z87 Extreme 4.
it wont boot, and gives 4 rather short beeps. the DR.DEBUG is giving a code with a five in front, and the other number is unreadable. i have tried 2 different sets of ram in every slot, one from hyperX (2x 8GB) and another one from elixir (2x 4GB) one stick from hyperX is letting the mainboard stop the boot, but only in slot b1. the specs are an intel core i5 4690K ASRock Z87 Extreme 4 and the ram. i have no ssd or hdd, because i want to get into bios. can someone help?]]> Thu, 10 Oct 2024 04:55:23 +0000 https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=72036&PID=155514&title=z87-extreme-4-is-not-booting#155514
