Is your GPU in a slot that covers the Sound Blaster Audio capacitors? Try moving it to a different PCIe x16 lane. There is random crackling sounds occuring across all software applications. I've tried both realtek drivers and microsoft drivers. As well as different bit depths and sample rates. Nothing helps.

This is not specific to ASRock.
