    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8173">Jonny K</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7230<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Jan 2018 at 12:48pm<br /><br />Okay, I'm dumb.&nbsp; I figured it out.<div><br></div><div>I went back into my case and dug around and realized I've actually got 3 pin fans.&nbsp; I though they were 4 pin.&nbsp; :-\&nbsp; So, I changed the BIOS fan settings to use voltage mode instead of PWM mode and suddenly everything responded.&nbsp; It's curious - only two fans have voltage options, but once I set those two fans I found that all 4 of my fans + pump connected to the motherboard became responsive and I was able to modify the curves of each.</div><div><br></div><div>Sorry for the false alarm.&nbsp; Everything just magically worked with the old board, I didn't realize my fans were voltage based.&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="https://forum.asrock.com/smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" alt="Embarrassed" title="Embarrassed" /></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8173">Jonny K</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7230<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Jan 2018 at 12:03pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>I just built my first ASRock system, a Z370 Taichi with an i7 8700K.&nbsp; I'm upgrading my system from an existing Asus P8Z77-V Pro motherboard.&nbsp; In my case I've got a watercooling setup and control all my 4 pin GentleTyphoon fans and PWM water pump via PWM fan headers on the motherboard.&nbsp; At least, that's what I used to do with the Asus board.&nbsp; But now with the ASRock board I'm unable to control the fans or pump in anyway way.<div><br></div><div>Does anyone else have this issue?&nbsp; Am I completely missing some obscure setting in the BIOS I need to enable?&nbsp; I've messed around with FAN-Tastic in Windows 10, and also in the BIOS and in both places nothing changes fan speeds.&nbsp; When I perform a fan test it shows no change in fan speeds regardless of the power setting.&nbsp; I know for a fact these fans are PWM responsive, my Asus motherboard ran for 7 years with these fans that way.</div><div><br></div><div>Thoughts?&nbsp; I've submitted a support ticket to ASRock about this.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Jonny K</div>]]>
