Author: sandrino71
Subject: 73360
Posted: 18 Oct 2024 at 2:41pm

HI. I have a problem with my new taichi x870. my ryzen 9950 can't reach the limit of its power. Let me explain better, until a few days ago the CPU was mounted on a MB Asus X670E Hero. On the new MB I can't push the CPU like on the new Taichi, whatever I do reaches a point where it stops and doesn't increase in frequency or degrees. I tried every possible bios setting, automatic, manual, active pbo, automatic pbo etc etc followed various guides (I'm not a novice) maybe I did something wrong, nothing. the CPU is like it's stuck reaching its maximum limit. Does this card need any special precautions? could it be the bios immature? I have the latest version 3.08. Obviously I have the whole PC set up properly, 1000 watt power supply. I repeat, on the Asus I could get it to reach 300 watts, this one seems to stop at 250/260. the temperature never exceeded 86/87 degrees. I hope it's just some setting that I'm missing.
