Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.


As Hynix SC300 is a SATA type M.2 SSD, so it is normal that it only works at M2_2 slot since M2_1 slot supports PCIe Type M.2 only.

- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Ryzen Series CPU) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with A-Series APU)
- 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280/22110 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module
 
About the BIOS update, we suggest using DOS update to update the BIOS to P3.00 first.

The AB350 Pro4 Bios 1.30 under Tools no menu to update my Bios and my Hynix Canvas SC300 M.2 SSD - 128GB is not detected in M2-1 slot but in the M2-2 slot. 
So what do i do now for bios update.
