    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8375">RobLambert</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7388<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Jan 2018 at 1:57am<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>I am days away from commencing a build based on the x299E-ITX/ac motherboard.<div><br></div><div>The computer will be doing two things:&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>1) Access, manipulate and search a database of about 100 gigs using Logos bible study software; and,&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>2) stream search results in HD.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>What I am worrying about is this.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>I am having trouble figuring out what I can expect out of the m.2 connector on the top of the motherboard which goes through the chipset/DMI.&nbsp; The computer will have two HD cameras providing video streams through the USB ports and will be using a 4k webcam, again, through the chipset.</div><div><br></div><div>Will the DMI cause a slowdown for a fast ssd (like the samsung 960 pro) or it is just fine to put the ssd through the connector on top of the board???</div><div><br></div><div>I guess I am asking about what effect I can expect from the top m.2 connector???<br><br>Thanks all...</div><div>Rob</div>]]>
