Hey, I am going crazy - any ideas are appreciated!

I used the following components: ASRock X670E Steel Legend (latest bios as available on their website) + 7800X3D + 2x 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 + 2 TB Nvme

Above components ran perfectly fine in my old case for a couple of days with my old 550w bequiet Dark Power Pro using the onboard gpu - unfortunately I need to upgrade the psu due to a new gpu.

Issue: system does not post (or boot to bios/win anymore) if I connect a new Dark Power 13 850w and its new cables.

Both mainboard and cpu power connections are connected

Motherboard LED lights are on and all fans (CPU, case) spin when I hit the power button.

CPU status led is constantly red, no other status led are light up (like RAM test) even after half an hour.

I reset the board via jumper, removed the battery as well as power.

I tried a second brand new Dark Power 13 850w and its cables with the same result :(

FYI CPU ran at 35 celsius, has been reseated. Cooler is not too tight. Tried to put each RAM stick into each slot.
