bios (chip) is not replaceable as it used to be in ~1980
u may try to reset cmos
if that doesnt work u may try to clear recovery capsule:
power on pc, hit reset several times until it beeps, during beep, hit it few times more and let it be
if your bootblock is not broken it should post
if it doesnt, u can rma your board

I made the upgrade from 3.40 to 4.40, and after that I could not go into the BIOS, although the system was normally loaded. tried several times and each time one and the same can not go into the BIOS. downloaded from site 3.40 for windows clicked on asrom.eks did all the commands as described and the computer started to reboot. and after that nothing happens and waited about an hour and nothing.

does not respond even to pressing F2. Help me find a solution.
