two more questions

firstly ,have you reset all bios to default settings before swapping out
second you say an 8300 cpu these are quite old ,is it secondhand do you know if its working correctly ?

Please explain more in depth what happens when you push the start button?

Also, you have cleared the BIOS after a CPU swap, right?

With Phenom, everything works. But with FD8300WMW8KHK it does not start.

Please tell me why the AMD FX 8300 processor with the ASRock 970 Pro3 motherboard (not R2.0) may not work? I bought this processor on the site indicated that this motherboard supports it, when you install the computer does not start. Black screen and nothing is loaded. With the old processor everything works.The old AMD Phenom IIx4 965 BE processor.BIOS version 2.0
