Sadly, the CPU is reported as supporting the CPU at BIOS 1.80

In my sad experience, if it ain't on the officially supported list of exact CPU models, the B550 will not boot with it. A colleague tells me that there's a hard-coded list of CPUs and their params like voltages. So I want to add that I reinstalled my 5800X and it posts just fine (BIOS 3.40).

I have an old asrock b550 phantom gaming 4 ac motherboard and I wanted to use it for an emachine with downgrading to a Ryzen 4600G CPU. I installed the latest (non) BIOS and when I swapped out the Ryzen 5800X for the 4600G, the CPU and DRAM lights are stuck on and RED and will not post.

Is the 4600G compatible with the motherboard. Most updates say 50000G series support and fixes. I'm afraid one of them has borked 4600G support or something.
