Thank you for your answer and help.  The only reason I'm doing this is due to the fact I need 3 more fans than the motherboard supports.  since I will be controlling fans with the Commander Pro I might as well control them all with it.  The commander Pro supports 6 fans and have 4 movable temp sensors, and 2 additional USB 2.0 port for monitoring.

I have a new build, using the Fatality Z270 Gaming ITX/AC Motherboard.  This system is a dedicated HTPC. I am installing a Corsair Commander Pro for fan control and would like to know if the motherboard will give me any issues with no fans connected and that includes CPU fan and water pump, everything will be controlled through the Commander Pro through Corsair Link 4.
