I expected as much.<br><br>One thing I have noticed is that the liquid temp in the cooler only goes up to 36.1C while the CPU is at 87+<br>This looks like bad contact, but I have pulled the pump three times and the TIM is spread evenly across the entire die. This is the same H100I V2 I used on my 3770K.<br>]]>

Seems to be better. Idling at 35C and OCCT peaks at 75C.<br>All BIOS setting at default except for VCCIO and VCCSA. I will wait a couple of day before experimenting.<br>]]>

H100I V2 fans are connected to cpu and cpu aux connectors and I have 3 other fans connected to Aux 1,2 and 3.<br><br>Pump is running at 3120rpm and the water temp does&nbsp; heat up.<br><br>Temps were measured using Coretemp and HWInfo64.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8535">Lenster</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7673<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15 Feb 2018 at 2:54am<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>Recently replace my 3770K with Z370 Taichi and 8700K Bin L741D739.<br>Ram is G-Skill 3200 running at rated speed. <br>Cooler is Corsair H100IV2( reused from old install).<br>The problem is temps. At idle, it is 39C with the pump at highspeed (3170RPM)<br><br>Running OCCT takes it up to 95 and Realbench almost to 100.<br>It will spike to 56C at the slightest uptick of useage.<br><br>I have pulled the pump and the AS5 has evenly spread evenly across the entire top of the cpu so I know the seating was proper. The 3770K oc'd to 4.2 and ran in the 30s and never higher than the 60s.<br><br>All bios settings on the Taichi are at default save Vccio (1.1) and Vccsa(1.15) to get the ram to run at rated speed.<br><br>If I try changing to any overclock settings such as all cores at 4.5 and offest voltage at -60 it idles at 51C.<br><br>The only thing I can think of is that my AS5 paste is a year old.<br><br>Any suggestions?<br>]]>
