Are the mounting holes in the same place as the old motherboard? A case standoff in the wrong place could short out the new motherboard. Also it's easy to forget to plug in the CPU auxiliary power cable. Brand new A88M-G/3.1
AMD A6 7400K
DDR3-1333  PC3-1066

Replacing an ASUS, Same case, monitors, etc.
On start all fans start but that's all. Have working speakers, no beep.
Not a novice.
