    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8925">garris2</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7899<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Mar 2018 at 12:11pm<br /><br />Hi badbri,<div>I did as you suggested above of uninstalling the driver (not delete files) but windows does not find the driver files when it detects the hardware on reboot.</div><div>It seems the Creative driver install app needs to run in order for the driver to be installed.</div><div>I downloaded a previous driver only installer (not including the creative apps), but the problem persists.</div><div>The computer will run for a short time then suddenly crashes.</div><div>Without the sound card it runs fine.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>So I've decided to do away with the sound card and just use the on-board audio and get the front panel hooked up properly, which is what I should have done in the first place.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Thanks for your suggestions on this.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Best Regards</div><div>Geoff</div>]]>

Reboot and let Windows find the driver and re-install it.<br>Try it and see if it helps. Others complain that Alt-TAB to desktop from a game will cause it no matter what.<br>]]>
