You have to update it prior using this CPU. this leads to two option:<br><ul><li>buy or borrow an older Skylake CPU to update the BIOS</li><li>check if it is possible to buy a BIOS chip</li></ul><p>maybe the reseller will be able to update the BIOS for you.<br></p><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by wtuppa - 03 Mar 2018 at 10:48pm</span>]]>

No beep, also when i remove the memory.</div><div><br></div><div>I assume the BIOS version is P1.00 (this is the label on the BIOS chip).</div><div>I know the CPU is supported in only in the latest BIO version P7.10.</div><div>The Memory is not in the official support list, but i was hoping it will work.</div><div><br></div><div>My plan was to boot to the BIOS and update it to the latest version.&nbsp;</div><div>Do you think it is the CPU or the memory causing my issue?</div><div><br></div><div>When i change the configuration, i noticed that the system is powering up for approx 10 secs, then the fans are going down, and then it is powering up again, but i do only see a black screen.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!!</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by fcc - 03 Mar 2018 at 9:08pm</span>]]>
