There are many Extreme4 motherboards you will need to be more precise in the exact model name.<div>If the slot is a PCIe M.2 not SATA M.2 slot any nvme drive will work in 99% of cases, these specifications are listen in every motherboards tech info page, and also on laptops tech specs/manuals, so check these and confirm</div><div>The speed difference between a 2.0 and 3.0 x4 M.2 slot is a theoretical maximum of 2GB/s (Gigabytes/s) for the 2.0 x4 vs about 3.94GB/s for the 3.0 x4</div><div><br></div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by cristy6100 - 31 Mar 2018 at 11:54pm</span>]]>
