    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5501">MisterJ</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7997<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 Mar 2018 at 10:10am<br /><br />wardog, the ASRock RAID drivers are modified, although ASRock says they are not.&nbsp; For example Secure Boot cannot be used with them.&nbsp; If you run the AMD RAID drivers, you will get a yellow ! in the Device Manager.&nbsp; ASRock has insisted, at least to me, that their drivers be used.&nbsp; I run the ASRock drivers and RAIDXpert2 and have no problems.&nbsp; Individual users certainly can do as they please.&nbsp; A different example is the Aquantia NIC drivers for X399 FGP.&nbsp; Using the Aquantia drivers gets you no Aquantia NIC seen by W10.&nbsp; I am forced to use a down level Aquantia driver because ASRock has modified the Aquantia driver and not stayed up to date.&nbsp; "ALWAYS" almost "NEVER" really means "ALWAYS".&nbsp; Enjoy, John.&nbsp; ]]>

It apparently would freeze before it got to save the event causing it to do so. Eventually, after a long time, I got a BDOS and it looks to be NDIS.sys. It appears by default W10 uses an old driver for WiFi, so now I have upgraded the Intel AC-3168 driver. Thought I would pass this along as it took forever to finally see the wireless driver causing&nbsp;a lockup.</div>]]>
