There are no performance gains in games over 4.0 G so I am going to work on lowering the voltage on the cpu. I think it will be a while before it's anywhere near fixed. Remember that there are two variants and one of them is especially tricky.<div><br></div><div>Edit: I just ran InSpectre (release 6b) to test. Although I'm seeing YES, NO!, GOOD in the summary, the "system's present situation" is all green so there is some protection in place.</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by JohnM - 10 Mar 2018 at 11:48pm</span>]]>

The bios is prime stable for me and has increased my overclock over the 3.20 bios. I was locked in at 3.9G now I can hit 4.1.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div><div>I really can't say enough good things about this bios my SSD speeds are up too.&nbsp;</div><div>I am going to try 4.2 tomorrow, I always assumed I had a good chip because it runs so cool, never goes over 58C when running prime95.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>My only wish was it would have included the Spectre fix I ran a tool from GRC.com and from another site and it still shows I am vulnerable. I have all Windows patches installed.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>If your on the fence about this bios I hope this helps you make up your mind up to upgrade.</div><div><br></div><div>Way to go Asrock keep up the great work.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div></div>]]>
