    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5501">MisterJ</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8010<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 Mar 2018 at 11:54pm<br /><br />Krakeniko, during POST, memory is tested and only the sticks that pass are given to Windows.&nbsp; What yours is saying is one of the two sticks is not passing the tests.&nbsp; Please put one stick in A1 and see if it will boot, then try A2 and the rest.&nbsp; Try all slots with the other stick also.&nbsp; This will give you a picture of a bad stick and/or a bad slot.&nbsp; If one stick is always bad but all slots are good, then RMA the memory kit.&nbsp; If one or more slots are bad, you may need to RMA the board.&nbsp; Enjoy, John.]]>

Single channel with half being seen/usable in Wndows.<br><br>Sometimes even one that is fritzing out.<br><br><br><br>Great reply datonyb. Thank you.<br><br>Your "clear the cmos after each fix attempt" cannot be stressed enough here.<br><br><br><br>BTW, my hoity toity mem? You don't want to know what they booted into Windows last night was. I don't understand what is the problem :(<br><br>A1 A2: workstation switch on and switch off after many seconds continuosly<br>A1 B1: single channel configuration<br>A2 B2: single channel configuration<br>B1 B2: as first case<br><br>And Windows 10 says that use 8gb and 8gb dedicated to hardware<br><br>Thanks in Advance!<br><br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Krakeniko - 11 Mar 2018 at 7:35pm</span>]]>
