Author: ZenTropi
Subject: 80647
Posted: 16 Nov 2024 at 9:12am

Ok so I have an AB350 Pro4 motherboard. It currently has my Ryzen 7 1700x cpu on it and I want to first update the Bios on it. its at 3.0 currently.. I first want to know what I can update the bios to with current CPU (I'm hoping to resolve a Windows update issue where it cant complete the update and undoes everything.) Then, I need to know what I should do to prep it for a Ryzen 7 5700x3d. I need to know the steps, too, like do i update to a bridge bios in between? do I need to boot to windows to verify its working before continuing on? at what point do i actually switch out the CPU? I want to do this right the first time
