Well they released 2.4 and 2.6 that fixed meltdown/spectre security issues. 2.4 worked for me but 2.6 won?™t post. Messaging with AsRock they seem to think it?™s the memory that is the issue. My memory is 2x 16GB Crucial. 2400 I think. Me too but, if I'm not wrong, the Z270 still has not the new bios with the Intel security fix.

I just updated from 2.4 (the pulled update because of Intel bugs, worked fine for me) to the current 2.6. Now the computer won't post. Lights turn on but nothing displayed and no beeps. Cleared cmos and even took the battery out. Same deal, no post. Any way to fix this or roll back the bios to the prior version (not sure this MB has that capability)?

Everything was perfect before the update. Used a USB stick as I have before.

Intel i7-7700k bought last April.
