As long as Kingston says so, absolutely.

ASRocks Memory QVL is generated from those kits they, ASRock, has in-house at the beginning of production for that board that they have tested, working.

ASRock cannot possibly test compatibility on EVERY Kit there is today. That is left to the memory manufacturers themselves.

So I was mistaken by assuming all XMP 2.0 sticks can work as intended. I am glad to have asked and will replace the sticks with compatible ones (listed either on memory manufacturer or asrock website).

XMP is not a guarantee, rather a Communication Standard.

Having said that, Kingston doesn't state it is compatible.

What BIOS rev is the MB currently flashed to?

Dear community,

My board is the Fatal1ty X99X Killer with CPU E5-2628L v4
Today I installed new HyperX Predator DDR-3200 CL15 memory ( HX432C16PB3K4/16 ) .
It is not officially supported as I can see on this website: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20X99X%20Killer/index.fa.asp?cat=Memory
But as it supports XMP 2.0, I believed it should still work and the XMP Profile should be available in BIOS. Also the top modules in the list are HperX Predator ones so I thought I should get them to run in quad-channel with a frequency of 3200 pretty easily.

Now when I look at the BIOS (I have tried both 3.00 and 3.10), I can't select any XMP Profile. In the "Memory Tweaker" window I can see that two XMP 2.0 Profiles are recognized (one for 3000 and one for 3200) and it states that the module supports XMP 2.0 - but apart from there I cannot see that an XMP Profile is in use mpr is the XMP option available (missing completely). With some corsair ram which I previously used, the option was clearly there, and it stated that the RAM's XMP is in use in the informational lines above the options. In addition, I can't select anything higher than ddr4-2400 in the Memory Frequency select box.
(By the way they run in "Quadruple-channel" mode, in Windows CPU-Z it doesn't reflect that in the "NB frequency" box but I guess it doesn't show there anyway)

Of course I want to run the modules with ddr-3200, I am completely out of ideas as I have tried many ways of rising the BLCK etc, without getting the RAM to run at full speed.
Can someone assist me please in how to "get back the XMP select box" or make some kind of modification so I can select the 3200 memory frequency?

P.S.:
Btw I had a really strange behavior firstly, when I tried to run the Memory with the current 3.30 BIOS. It showed Code 91 (Chipset initialization failed, please reset or clear cmos), and I've cleared CMOS and resetted countless times in different variations (yes I read the manual how to reset CMOS). With 2 sticks installed, it booted no problem but as I installed 3 and more sticks (to position A1, B1, C1, D1 from left to right), Dr Debug permanently showed Code 91. EXCEPT for when I removed the CPU Heatsink. Without Heatsink there was a chance that the board posted, but then of course it would shut down after few moments probably because of the cpu running too hot.
End of the story was to switch the bios to the other chip where version 3.10 is installed, and with that it didn't show Code 91 but always posted. I then also out of curiosity tried (everything) with version 3.00 and it's running "as good" as 3.10. Still have the XMP not showing problem with both of these versions.
