I think Taichi X399's VRM temp is still lower than every other x399 mobos out there, so didn't think of cooling them.<br><br>However, the culprit was G-SYNC.<br>I turned off G-SYNC while OBS streaming + recording games, the stuttering and decline in FPS is gone.<br><br>Can't believe I paid extra for G-SYNC monitors and Titan Xp for stuttering experience.<br>With all the GPP drama, I'm 100% certain that I'll take AMD route in near future.]]>

Agreed no where near the air volume though.]]>

As far as VRM temps it did lower under extreme load 5c to 90c but that needs extreme load to get there. I used to idle at about 32c now idle at 28c. Under real world&nbsp;high loads usage never above 55c now under about 45-48c.<div></div><div></div>As far as CPU, when the frame rate drops if usage of the GPU does not drop significantly at the same time usually then the CPU is not the throttle cause. If you were playing the game and at the time the GPU average usage was 80% and then frame rate cuts in half and the GPU average usage drops to 50% then the CPU&nbsp;has somehow stopped feeding the CPU. &nbsp;]]>

All AiO cooler manuf's now say to install one like I have done in the pic below. I tried 100% fan curve for Titan Xp, temp lowered but GPU usage remains so I don't it's thermal throttling.<br><br>@wardog I already have 120mm x 3 radiator on the top + 140mm on rear side of the case. The rear fan runs at 980 RPM though. I'll try it with 1500+ RPM fan and see if it makes any difference.<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by KJM - 24 Mar 2018 at 8:13am</span>]]>

My GPU is at 71C. Overclocked to 4GHz @ 1.4v.<br>But after an hour of gameplay, I see the framerate reducing, then game stutters for 0.5 seconds, drops frame in half (160 to 90 fps for a seconds).&nbsp;<br><br>No matter what I do, after an hour of gameplay + streaming, I get frame drops and stutter.<br><br>I'm using LLC 2 for CPU, then auto for the chipset.<br><br>DDR4 3200 stable at 1.36 (14-14-14-34). Prime95 and memtest ran for 8+ hours, no errors.<br><br>Titan Xp GPU usage is well under 80%.<br>VRM temperature goes upto 67~68C.<br><br>What other settings can I try? Seems like motherboard is throttling.]]>
