Sir I installed asrock ab350m-hdv motherboard with ryzen 5 1600 processor.also got fury Hynix 8 GB ddr4 ram. When I assembled the system, fans are running but I got no display at all..
Can you please sort this out for me.waiting for response.

Dear Thanos-Averroes,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.


If you install Raven Ridge CPU should update to latest BIOS P4.XX in advance.

But if you install Summit or Bristol CPU, there is no need to update BIOS.

System can boot up properly with current configuration.

Hello and welcome..

Wrong information.
This advice would apply only if u want to install a Raven Ridge or Pinnacle Ridge CPU (i.e. Ryzen 5 2400G or the upcoming generation). Ryzen 1600 will work without any update.

Hello! I'm going to get a AB350M-HDV board with Ryzen 5 1600.
But I have a question: Someone say that without updating the BIOS the computer will not start. Is the information correct?
If so, how do I update the BIOS if I do not have any other processors?
